Mae Hong Son / 31 January 2020 – Recently, Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited, led by Mrs. Ariya Prasarttong-Osoth, Board of Directors and Chairman of Corporate Social Responsibility Division (3rd from left) together with airline’s executives including Mrs. Chanthip Thongkanya, Vice President – Office of President (2nd from left), Ms. Amornrat Kongsawat, Vice President – Network and Fleet Management (1st from left) and Mr. Varong Israsena Na Ayudhya, Vice President – Marketing (1st from right) have organized the 4th “Season of Giving – CSR Activity” to hand out 300 blankets to Tham Nam Lod Wildlife and Nature Education Center as well as to donate used and unused items such as clothes, books and toys to local community and students living in the remote area of Mae Hong Son. The blankets donation ceremony was held at Tham Nam Lod Wildlife and Nature Education Center and attended by Mr. Nikorn Kaewmora, The Chief of the center (2nd from right).
The 4th “Season of Giving – CSR Activity” was held as part of the airline’s ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Campaign called “Community of Love” which is annually held during December- February since 2016. The activity aims to support local community in remote areas. This year, Bangkok Airways donated 300 good-conditioned blankets that were used onboard to Tham Nam Lod Wildlife and Nature Education Center to facilitate those students visiting the center for educational purposes. In addition to that, the airline’s executives and volunteers helped painting Baan Tham Lod School’s fences. Bangkok Airways’ employee also donated non-damaged clothing, books and toys to local community and 3 local schools; Baan Tham Lod School, Baan Muang Pam School and Baan Huay Hang school.
In 2020, as part of Bangkok Airways’ core missions, the airline strives to continue its support and be involved in Corporate Social Responsibility project (CSR) under the concept “BLUE HEART- A Love to Share” that focuses on 2 areas which are “Community of Love” that aims to support and build stronger and sustainable communities and “Love Earth Save Earth” that aims to create an awareness of natural resources and environment conservation.
