BANGKOK/17 February 2020 – Recently, Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited, represented by Mrs.Chanthip Thongkanya, Vice President – Office of President (5th from right 2nd row), recently held a certification presentation ceremony for students who completed internship program with Bangkok Airways’ Technical Department following San Phalang Pracharat project at Bangkok Airways Headquarters on Vibhavadirangsit Road.
The ceremony was held to congratulate the students who completed the internship program (Technical Department) following the MOU signed on 21 January 2016 between Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited and Prasan Phalang Pracharat Committee. The MOU is the collaboration between public and private sectors which aim to support, develop and elevate quality of vocational education. Bangkok Airways, as part of the project, provided 6 scholarships for vocational students from Thai-Austrian Technical College in Chonburi and 4 scholarships for vocational students from Donmueang Technical College in Bangkok. The airline also provided internship opportunity for all scholarship students upon their graduations at Bangkok Airways’ Hangar at Don Mueang Airport allowing them to practice their knowledge and skills in real life situation, learn how to work in team as well as develop their problem solving skills.
The students who attended the 6-month internship program from 15 October 2019– 14 February 2020 will also be given an opportunity to enter staff recruitment process for full-time positions with the airline.
