FOOD & HOTEL THAILAND OFFERS PREMIUM SOLUTIONS TO PREPARE LOCAL INDUSTRY FOR GLOBAL STAGE

Bangkok – The 27th edition of Food & Hotel Thailand (FHT) 2019 will be held from 4-7 September across three exhibition halls at BITEC, Bangna. As the premier international food and hospitality event in Thailand, for Thailand and the region, FHT 2019 sees a 20% increase in size from last year. Many new exhibitors and pavilions have joined FHT2019 to present their products and services to businesses as they prepare for peak-season. And with tourist numbers expected to rise during the second half of the year FHT 2019 is once again the industry’s platform for new ideas, latest trends, skills training and the best food, hospitality and retail business.

Under the theme, ‘Your Key Ingredients for Success’ FHT 2019 will support businesses in meeting and exceeding customer expectations by delivering new food & drink offerings, foodservice equipment, hospitality supplies, industry training, hospitality and retail technology solutions and services from around the world. So that businesses can better prepare themselves to serve the increasing number of tourists, dinners and shoppers, and differentiate themselves from their competition.

The demand for organic and sustainable products is increasing hugely across Thailand and the region, FHT2019 will cater to this demand by showcasing 2 new organic pavilions from the EU Business Avenues in South East Asia Pavilion and Department of Internal Trade (DIT) Pavilion which includes Thai Organic Trade Association (TOTA), Thailand Sustainable Agriculture Confederation (TSAC) and Thai Organic Agriculture Foundation (TOAF). Together with a wide variety of sustainable, eco-friendly and healthy products and consumables. Visitors will also be able to learn more about growing organic food trends through seminars and workshops held onsite.

FHT2019 is expected to attract over 30,000 trade visitors from 60 countries and with a 20% increase in size visitors will have more to see and experience than ever before from over 450 exhibitors from 30 countries and 10 international pavilions including Italy, the EU, Denmark, Korea x2, China x2 and Japan x3. FHT2019 introduces 3 new sections including Fine Food Thailand for fine and gourmet food & drinks, Restaurant & Bar Thailand for F&B products, equipment, technology and trends for the restaurant and bar industries and Organics Thailand. Alongside industry sectors for Coffee & Tea Culture, Food & Drinks, Food Service Equipment, Hospitality & Retail Technology Thailand, Hospitality Style, and Wine & Spirits. 

In addition, FHT2019 will feature new conferences, competitions and activities discussing trends and improving skills to drive and increase knowledge and competitiveness in our industry, including Thailand’s 21th Hospitality Industry Congress;  Thailand’s 25th International Culinary Cup (TICC); Thailand National Latte Art Championship; Thailand National Coffee in Good Spirits Championship; the 15th FBAT International Wine Challenge Awards and Wine Tasting; Gelato 

Workshops & Competition by Carpigiani Gelato University; Thai Restaurant Association Seminar; Wine Seminars 2019; The Executive Housekeeper Association Workshop and Seminar; Hotels & Building Chief Engineering’s Club Seminar; Dusit Thani College Seminars; Thai Spa Operators Association Seminar and Innovation Designs for Hotels using 4DNA Theory Application.
