Many local hotels join in to help Baan Kok Wat Mai School in Thalang
PHUKET – The annual Outrigger Share 4 Change charity badminton tournament on 13 July was supported by staff from 16 hotels from around the island and Phangnga.
Proceeds will help Thalang’s Baan Kok Wat Mai School where Outrigger Laguna Phuket Beach Resort has undertaken several long-term projects, such as library renovation, school toilet enhancements, and upgrading the playground, canteen and classrooms.
Hotel doubles teams paid THB4000 to join the day-long tournament at PK Arena Badminton Court in Thalang.
Money raised will be used for a special lunch for the primary school on 16 August as part of an English Camp for pupils. Outrigger’s Share 4 Change volunteers will help the Laguna Phuket corporate social responsibility team to arrange the camp.
