Phuket, Thailand ( 4 June 2018) – THE NAI HARN, Phuket’s leading luxury resort, is sharing its acclaimed Thai cuisine with European gourmands during a special guest visit by the the resort’s Thai chef Khun Anne, who will grace the kitchens at the legendary Brenners Park-Hotel & Spa’s Rive Gauche restaurant in Baden-Baden, Germany from 5 – 10 June 2018.

.

Chef Ann (Chatchanun Punjasuphachok), will present six delectable Thai entrees and main courses during her guest appearance at the German hotel, including signature dishes such as pla tord yum mamuang, a Thai-style salad with fresh sea bass, shredded green mango and roasted cashew nuts, and goong phad pong karee, stir-fried tiger prawns in a light yellow curry sauce with Chinese celery. Each of her dishes will showcase traditional Thai recipes, reinvented to meet modern tastes and expertly prepared with high-quality ingredients that introduce diners to Thailand’s extensive range of exotic flavours and skilled cooking techniques.

.

“Fresh ingredients are important for any cooking, but particularly in Thai cuisine where the freshest fish, meats, produce, herbs and aromatics can greatly alter the flavour and balance of a dish,” explains Chef Ann.

.

“I cook by the guiding principle that a dish is only as good as the quality of its ingredients, and I am looking forward to sharing some of my favourite flavours with diners in Germany,” she adds.

.

Chef Ann first discovered her passion for cooking as a young girl when her grandmother passed on the secrets of Thailand’s spicy soups, creamy curries, delicate noodles and flavourful wok-fried dishes. At the Rive Gauche, diners will be transported to the tropical lands that inspired these exotic dishes while looking out over rolling parklands on the banks of the River Oos.

.

“With our world class dining venues and resident chefs, as well as regular visits from lauded international guest chefs, we place a strong emphasis on fine cuisine at THE NAI HARN,” said the resort’s General Manager, Frank Grassmann.

.

“We’re delighted that the authentic tastes of Thailand created by Chef Ann are travelling from the shores of Phuket to the spa town of Baden-Baden. The guests at Brenners Park-Hotel & Spa are certainly in for an exceptional culinary experience,” he added.
