Phuket, Thailand – 25 March: Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas is pleased to announce an official grand opening of Tiffin by La Sala, taking place from 18.30 hrs to 20.00 hrs at La Sala restaurant.

The event marks the first and finest authentic Indian culinary experience in Mai Khao. La Sala is inspired by local delicacies and International favourites for breakfast. The outlet served Thai cuisine in the afternoon and Indian cuisine for dinner. Indian and Thai food will be on offer for lunch and dinner.

The event celebrates its official launch with an opening speech by management team followed by a traditional Indian dance show, showcasing India’s artistic and cultural beauty. Then comes the highlight of the event, a live tandoor station where our guests can sample Chef Sunil’s most mouthwatering, authentic recipes that is soon becoming the “talk of the town.

His Indian menu was an absolute ‘hit’ at The Tree House, a lofty bar that is wrapped around an ancient banyan tree with an enviable view across the resort. His well-known dishes are Dal Anantara; a black whole lentil with Indian butter and tomato and Saffroni Butter Chicken; a chicken tikka with cashew nuts and gravy cream. His nine years of experience as a chef and his hunger to further showcase more of his cuisine are where the vision of “Tiffin” was born.
