Alexandra was working on her senior portfolio at Parsons School of Design when she found her niche: bodysuits. She went on a hunt for the perfect bodysuits to pair with the bottoms she was most proud of designing and returned with the realization that there was a void in the market of cool, contemporary options. In 2014, ALIX launched its first bodysuit collection with a focus on making luxury basics. Each bodysuit is polished and practical, acknowledging the importance of every woman
having her essential pieces and adding ALIX to her list of staples. For S16, ALIX’s active inclination extends seamlessly into a new collection of swimsuits. The sleek and sporty swim line maintains a focus on fit and versatility, adding a playful palate and a fresh take on classic silhouettes. Feedback has been wonderful and the team is thrilled with a growing list of noteworthy stock lists, including Net-A-Porter, Shop Bop, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Harvey Nichols. Alexandra is thrilled to be a part of the incubator and looks forward to continuing expansion of snap-crotch awareness everywhere.
