Phuket, Thailand – 1 December 2018 : JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa ushers in the festive holiday season with the numerous festive dining programs from Christmas to the Orthodox. The resort even brighter than ever with the twinkling lobby foyer of Christmas tree lights to the beautiful decorations illuminating garden and the shimmering spirits around the resort.

The resort also organized the first annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony and invited hotel guests and children to help our General Manager, Mr. Matthias Y. Sutter swift on the illuminated tree, in the evening of December 1st, at the lobby.

The tree lighting ceremony featured the carols singing, cookies and treats, and support local community members in need. Christmas carols were led by 21 students from Yaowawit school, Phang Nga province. Since 2015, Marriott International together with Yaowawit School and the Office of Vocational Education Commission designed and built the Yaowait Pre-Vocational Hospitality Academy. The school professionalized its life skill education curriculum by  providing the Yahowawit Pre-Vocational Academies to those children.
